Curt Blum
Curtis M. Blum, P.E., S.E. has over thirty years of structural engineering experience with firms in Nebraska, Florida, and New Mexico. His specialization includes the design of steel, masonry, cast-in-place and precast concrete, GFRC curtain wall systems, and timber, as well as glue laminated wood structures. He has experience not only in the design of new buildings, but also in the investigation and repair of buildings with structural deficiencies. Blum has been the engineer of record for many diverse projects ranging from schools, apartment complexes, and libraries to churches and commercial buildings.
About Me
Blum started as a design engineer with Krause Engineering in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1980. In l983 he moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he worked with the structural engineering firm, Blum, Schumacher & Associates. Blum accepted a position as project engineer with Structural Systems Design, Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1989. He joined VOSS & ASSOCIATES Inc. in 1994.
